Timothy Tobin
President & CEO
Tim has demonstrated dynamic leadership in multiple roles throughout the semiconductor industry for over 15 years. As President and CEO of Entrepix, Tim oversees all company operations and is responsible for corporate growth and direction, ultimately ensuring Entrepix delivers maximum value to its customers, employees and shareholders. During the evolution of the company, Tim has repeatedly provided the vision to propel the company to the next level, maintaining consistent growth and profitability. Prior to joining Steve Horowitz in founding Entrepix, Tim held positions of increasing responsibility within Motorola, SpeedFam-IPEC and Metron Technology. Tim holds a Masters in Microelectronics Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor in Applied Physics from State University of New York at Geneseo.
Steven Horowitz
COO
With over 25 years experience in semiconductor capital equipment sales and service, Steve has overall responsibility for Entrepix' equipment engineering, service operations and CMP foundry facilities. Steve's unique combination of industry knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit lead to the founding of Entrepix (formerly Total Fab Solutions, Inc.) in 1998. Since its beginning, the company has built a strong reputation for high quality products and services. Prior to Entrepix, Steve held various positions of increasing responsibility for Metron Technology and Applied Materials. He holds a degree in Electronics from Devry Institute of Technology.
Robert Rhoades, Ph.D.
CTO
From Motorola's implementation of CMP in the early 1990's, Dr. Rhoades has been a driving force in CMP technology. He is recognized worldwide as a leading expert in the field. Rob's wealth of experience spans large corporations and national labs to successful small startups. Prior to joining Entrepix, Rob was instrumental in introducing oxide, tungsten and shallow trench CMP processes into Motorola's semiconductor manufacturing. He was quickly recruited by the CMP slurry startup company, Solution Technology, Inc (STI) and managed the applications engineering group until STI was acquired by Rodel. At Rodel, Rob became the Director of Advanced Process Technology where he led the project to design, build, and staff Rodel's flagship applications facility in Phoenix, AZ. Rob holds Ph.D., M.S. and B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Bob Tucker
VP & GM
With over 20 years of semiconductor industry experience, Bob is responsible for Commercial Foundry Operations. In this role, Bob is committed to developing strong customer partnerships, driving benchmark manufacturing performance and delivering flawlessly to Entrepix' commitments. Expanding industry alliances and eco-partnerships also further develops the Entrepix brand across the global market for CMP foundry and service operations. Bob joined the Entrepix team after holding various management positions for Freescale Semiconductor (formerly Motorola Semiconductor Products Sector) - most recently as the Sensor Operations Manager where he was responsible for the Inertial Sensor (MEMS) business unit. Before that assignment, Bob's responsibilities included leadership roles as External Technology IP Licensing Technology Transfer Manager and as Wafer Fabrication Device Engineering Manager. Bob graduated with a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Jim Mello
VP, Business Development
With over 20 years of semiconductor industry experience, Jim is responsible for Business Development at Entrepix. In this role, Jim is focusing on the SEZ foundry development, new business opportunity and Entrepix' expansion strategy. Jim will incorporate new opportunities into the already successful business model developed by Entrepix. The SEZ foundry opportunity will complement the surface conditioning applications and offerings provided by Entrepix' CMP Fast Forward portfolio. Jim joined the Entrepix team after holding various executive management positions for SEZ America - most recently as the VP of Sales and Marketing where he was responsible for the growth of SEZ America and served on the Strategic Advisory Board for the SEZ Group. Before serving SEZ, Jim was an engineering section manager for diffusion, implant, metals, and back grind operations for a discrete components fab in Motorola's Semiconductor Product Sector. Jim received a Bachelors of Science in Microelectronic Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, Phoenix, Arizona.
Lee Tiat Koon
VP & GM
As Vice President & General Manager of Entrepix Asia Pte. Ltd., TK is responsible for overall Operations and Sales & Marketing for the Entrepix Asia team. The team's priority is to expand relationships and opportunities at existing accounts, as well as explore and penetrate new markets in China, Taiwan and the Asean regions; all while working closely with corporate headquarters to ensure full customer satisfaction. With over 20 years in the industry, TK is accomplished in developing and executing global marketing strategies and has accumulated significant experience in the operating environment for large, multi-national companies. After more than ten years with Texas Instruments and Siemens, TK became Managing Director of Seki Technotron Asia Pte. Ltd., where he initially setup the entire operation and then drove the business execution. Since its 1996 founding, TK successfully grew the sales and service team and established Seki Technotron as a pioneer and reputable supplier of refurbished capital equipment to advanced packaging and semiconductor fabs. TK holds a Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Curtin University, Perth Australia.
Carol Anderson, C.P.A.
Controller
Carol joined the Entrepix management team in May of 2004. Having more than 25 years of experience in finance and auditing, Carol directs the company's financial and accounting functions. Carol is also responsible for managing the company's treasury functions and business relations with banking partners and other investors. Prior to joining Entrepix, Carol was the Finance Manager for Walt Disney Home Video worldwide and was most recently with Rauch, Hermanson, & Everroad, Ltd. Carol holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and is a Certified Public Accountant in Arizona and California.
