Business Wire, Oct. 28, 2004
Total Fab Solutions Inc., the leading supplier of CMP outsourcing services and related equipment, today announced the addition of the AMAT Mirra Mesa tool set and associated high end metrology to complement TFS' existing CMP production and development capabilities. The additional equipment is scheduled to be in operation by mid-November in support of leading edge IDMs and CMP materials developers.
Commenting on the announcement, Steve Horowitz, TFS' Founding Partner and President, stated, "This marks another major milestone for TFS as we expand in support of market demand. We continue to focus on providing financially and technically innovative solutions of the highest quality. Our unique business model allows TFS to provide CMP capabilities substantially faster and at a fraction of the costs as compared to a customer adding these capabilities internally. In response to our customer requirements, we have more than doubled our outsource production capacity since the beginning of this year and plan to double it again within the next twelve months."
Dr. Robert Rhoades, CTO of TFS, added, "The strong commitment from leading semiconductor device manufactures and CMP materials developers enabled TFS to accelerate the completion of this project. Our customers will now benefit from the most advanced semiconductor manufacturing capabilities for their development and production needs."
